BAKEWELL TART

Sweet pastry, almond frangipane, raspberry jam and flaked almonds.

 

I was lucky enough to do some work with Raymond Blanc, we adapted a French frangipane recipe and ‘englished’ it. I am so proud of this Bakewell tart, it is beautiful.

 

THE LORDS TIP

Eat it cold as is, or for a treat beyond treat heat or up, place on a large board serve with crem anglaise in a jug, a ball of vanilla pod ice cream and some whipped cream….share with loved one.
