Classic meat & potato

AKA The Stockport / Macc Pie
Slow cooked ground beef stew with onions, Worcester sauce, Bollington Oatmill stout, loads of pepper, with Lyonnaise potatoes finished with gravy and HP sauce.
RECOMMENDATIONS
I love this pie when I’ve skipped breakfast and am starving at 11am.
It’s my mid-morning graft day pie. It’s how a meat and potato always and forever should be made. Potatoes in the oven with butter, herbs & onions, combined with mince stew afterwards. No mash in this meat potato pie.
THE LORDS TIP
Straight up on its own, mid morning brunch. Heat up then leave to cool for 10 minutes or as long as you can resist!
